The 2026 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. is right around the corner happening June 8–12, 2026.
This event is more than just a conference—it’s a chance for our industry to come together and ensure the voices of builders, associates, and industry professionals are heard where decisions affecting housing are being made.
Across South Carolina, our industry continues to face challenges such as rising material costs, workforce shortages, regulatory hurdles, and the ongoing need to deliver attainable housing. This conference gives you the opportunity to meet directly with lawmakers and share what it really takes to build homes and communities where families can thrive.
There are two ways to participate:
1. South Carolina Capitol Hill Day + SC Events
If you plan to join the South Carolina delegation for Capitol Hill visits, group dinners, and state meetings, you do not need to register with NAHB. Registration is open now through May 8, and the $225 registration fee secures your spot.

2. Full NAHB Conference Participation
If you plan to attend meetings and sessions hosted by NAHB, you will also need to register directly with NAHB. Additional details will be shared from NAHB late March.
Travel Note:
For those interested in traveling with the South Carolina group, a bus will be departing from and returning to Charleston, South Carolina. If you would like to ride the bus to D.C., please keep this departure location in mind when planning your travel. Please note additional cost and limited seating will be available.
Hotel Accommodations:
We have secured a South Carolina room block at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center, with rooms starting at $346.99 including taxes and fees. The hotel is just one block from the NAHB host hotel and will allow our South Carolina delegation to stay together.
HERE is the link to Book under the SC room block.
Your voice matters. By sharing your experiences and insights, you help shape policies that impact housing affordability, workforce development, and the future of our industry.
We hope you will consider joining us in Washington as we represent the building industry and continue working toward stronger communities across South Carolina.
